Organic Turkey, James Bond and Broccoli

We're pretty busy these days, I'm off to Iceland on thursday, trying hard to get all the christmas stuff organized for the trip. Gotta get all those presents over there, and the suitcase is going to be just as full on the way back.
We had a good little thanksgiving break, very relaxing. On thanksgiving day we went over to Ellen and Edwards house, it was all decked out and the food was delicious, the Turkey was organic, yum, yum. I love eating feasts.
On friday we took it easy, went to Tom's restaurant for brunch. In the evening I went out with Ellen and her sister Halla to see the new James Bond movie "Casino Royale". I was really happy with it, so much better then the old James, go see it if you haven't yet.
Then we had Icelandic school saturday, not too many kids showed up, a lot of poeple were out of town, but it was fun. Me and Sölva went with an Icelandic family to Long Island. I was cutting hair and Sölva was busy playing with her girlfriend. It got a little late, we took the train home at ten thirty and didn't get in till twelve thirty, poor Sölva was exhausted. Luckily she'ld borrowed a little blanket from her girlfriend and slept like a baby on the train. In her sleepy state of mind she told me that she was really happy that she got to go though. Sunday was one of those great lazy days, Kimberly came and joined us for brunch, then we took a little stroll in the beautiful weather, wandered through the park and collected some leaves. And that was it, on to the routine again.
Last night we had our weekly M.N.D.C over at Renda's and Nick's place. Renda cooked salmon, it was spicy and good.
We have this ongoing thing we seem to discuss every time in great detail, it's about Broccoli. Is it a hybrid? that Albert Broccolli's ( he's the producer of Ian Flemming's, James Bond movies) family came up with or is it in fact a natural vegetable. According to Nick, he learned in culinary school that the Broccoli was a hybrid and that this hot shot producer had something to do with it. When we did our little reseacrh, we found out that in 2002, there's was a movie called "24 hour party people" and that one of the characters in his stoned state of mind was going around telling people this story. Did you know that this producer that made James Bond, Albert Broccoli actually created Broccoli? Pretty funny stuff.... Well, we thought so.
Tonight Jeff's dad is coming, he's driving all the way from N.C to be of assistance to the kids and Jeff while I'm away. It'll be good for all of them to get to spend quality time together, the kids haven't seen grandpa Jack since christmas 2004.
Hope all is well with everyone out there.
miss ya
